We need 8x8 PT lumber to withstand long term wear and tear by 1000# horses potentially stepping on it. We know there's a real possibility that every competitive trail rider, whether 5 or 95, is going to see if their horse will go on this “obstacle” even though it’s designed for human use. It’s not in a supervised location and we’d prefer it last as well as we can possibly make it.
